http://sdandrews.blogspot.com/2012/04/dear-carla.html
Wednesday, April 04, 2012. Sunday, April 1, 2012. Oh how I missed you today! She was breathtaking. And all I could think of was how proud you would have been of her—not only because of her outward beauty, but because of who she has become inside, too. She’s wonderful, Carla. And although you died when she was only 17, it’s clear that you had a tremendous influence on her. She’s sweet, funny, giving, smart, emotional (wonder where she got that? I could go on and on. Throughout the reception, I kept gettin...

Friday, October 30, 2009. Friday, October 23, 2009. For those who wanted me to write more. this is my gift to you. This is also my bragging blog. For foreigners living in japan there's a test called the JLPT (japanese language proficiency test) with 4 levels. Bumps it up a bit, and then a HUGE gigantic king kong size climb in toughness to. The test required to be considered for entry into japanese universities, and get jobs as a foreigner in japan. A passing score is 240/400. Forget that. i learned t...

The side effects caused by the pink eye lingered for a good month before I could bring myself to tackle the removal of the unwanted growth (unwanted by all those around me at home). Saturday, February 26, 2011. Last month the girls turned 17 (Leah) and 13 (Krista), and Gene and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary. Where did the time go? How on earth did the girls go from this:. In just a couple of years? I mean, how does that happen? And then back home for a quick dinner and an ice cream bar before Mel had to leave, because she was headed to Mexico for a missions trip. Here are a few photos from the evening. Mel, Leah, Victoria. Victoria, Mel, Leah. Victoria, Mel, Leah. Becca seriousl...
