clashing hats: Brief update

http://clashinghats.blogspot.com/2009/01/brief-update.html

I need fresh things. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Surgery on Thursday went well.turned out to be endometriosis. Whole ovary and fallopian tube removed, which they were trying to avoid. I'm really not bothered by this - no need for concern/condolences. Private room in hospital was a lovely treat. Morphine was not my favourite. Have just been, obviously, in recovery mode. (This was a laparotomy, not a laparascopy). My friend A is arriving on Thursday. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. I hope you held onto it. Thank...

clashing hats: Overdue reflections

http://clashinghats.blogspot.com/2008/12/overdue-reflections.html

I need fresh things. Tuesday, December 09, 2008. The holidays are shaping up to be a bit - well, a lot - wonky. I had all these plans, and now they're falling apart. I feel as if this is a sign that I need to start thinking of Scary City as my home. I can't pin hopes on Home Region. This is depressing. Hell, I wish I could have some sort of extended bloggy holiday party with all of you pals.it would be a lot better than what the actual holidays are shaping up to look like. Tuesday, December 09, 2008.

Teaching Javascript | rwxweb

https://rwxweb.wordpress.com/2012/06/21/teaching-javascript

Creating a web literate planet. I spent a bunch of the day today working on a Javascript curriculum that I’ll be teaching a bunch of kids next week. For the interested, you can take a look at my Javascript lesson plan here. One of the things I’m kinda excited about is trying out a totally different way of teaching JS. First off, the kids will have already been introduced to both HTML/CSS and Python: a few days of each. But most importantly, I’m gonna try diving straight into. June 21, 2012. I advocate th...
