It Took the Night to Believe. Patrick Phipps is an artist living in Houston, Texas. His studio travels with him in a small tote bag and he regularly draws at coffeeshops. He prefers to work on paper for the immediacy and pleasure in making marks. His subject matter ranges from high abstract ideas to low pop cultural references.
