Patrick's History Blog: Module 3: Difference between African and American Slavery

http://patrickshistoryblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/module-3-difference-between-african-and.html

Sunday, July 5, 2009. Module 3: Difference between African and American Slavery. Have their hamstring cut on the second, and killed for the third, and if they had any judgment passed on in court they could not appeal. (Articles XXXII and XXXIII of Louisiana’s Code Noir) The worse being that the children of slaves belong to the mothers owner, so that any illegitimate children resulting of the master raping his slave would be his property and not have any grounds to prosecute him. Patrick's History Blog: Module 4: The true beginning of freedom for America

http://patrickshistoryblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/module-3-true-beginning-of-freedom-for.html

July 30, 2009 at 1:18 AM. As I read through Foners notations in Give Me Liberty, I fo...

And hope that this is the start of me finishing :) Let's see here. a little about me. I'm 25, and about to celebrate my one year anniversary. Patrick's History Blog: Module 2- Were the Native Americans really less civilized?

http://patrickshistoryblog.blogspot.com/2009/06/module-2-were-native-americans-really.html

Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Module 2- Were the Native Americans really less civilized? The main reason that drove the Europeans to enslave the Native Americans and treat them harshly was because they were viewed as savages, barbarians, and quite frankly lesser people; however, the Native Americans were in many ways more civilized than the Europeans. As stated by Eric Foner in Give me Liberty! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Module 2- Were the Native Americans really less ci. Hey look. its me.
