May 22, 2010. I have walked over 500 miles. Thats just under 25% of the trail. I am now in Virgina and will be for another 500 miles. Virgina is where the trail levels out some and I'll be able to start putting in 18 to 20 miles days. Gotta go, public library and only get 1 hour. ONE POLE, TWO POLES, NEW POLES.
