Adventures with Bike Friday. July 13, 2015. The view from Bug Light park. Admiring the view from the Fore River parkway bike pat. Jean laughs at the scary bridge. Death-defying look at the view from the edge of the bridge. On the other side of the bridge (South Portland) we were rewarded with a retail area that allowed us to accomplish most of our shopping goals and a bike path out to Bug Light Park. Much of the preparation is done –the yard is mowed (mostly); the house more-or-less cleaned; pet-sitting and boarding arranged; and the packing mostly complete. With this trip we now have around 1,500 miles on the Bike Fridays and we still love them. They were easy to transport folded in the car. We had absolutely no mechanical issues with the bikes.
