October 25, 2010. This time last week I had just returned from Pattern Textiles in Bethnal Green. I spent two weeks helping out dying, sewing, stripping screens and steaming/washing/ironing fabric. It was good to see people making money from what I’m still learning! I really like the studio environment. Tuesday, 18 February 2014. Doodling asparagus and blueberries. The other day my lovely friend Eva, who's living in Boston right now - way too far away from me - kindly asked me to design a pattern for her mouthwatering food blog Pilgrim Soup. Würde man einer Schrift einen Persönlichkeitstest unterziehen, so könnte man der Lösung schon recht nahe kommen, wären da nicht die eigenen ganz subjektive Eindrücke die ebenfalls in eine solche Beurteilung einfließen. So würde ein Teenager eine andere Schrift für Berlin wählen, als beispielsweise ein Familienvater oder Opa. Weiter Fundstücke sind die Buchstabenorte.

Sophie is a print designer living and working in London. She currently works in-house for Eye Dazzler Design. London/New York and is responsible for their sales in Italy. Her designs have sold worldwide to clients including Burberry, Roberto Cavalli, Ted Baker, Calvin Klein, Kenzo and DVF to name a few. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins in BA Textile Design, she has been a freelance printed textile designer and was initially represented by Pattern Textiles.
