Rejoicing In Hope: Tragedy, Miracles and Mercy
http://romans12-12.blogspot.com/2011/04/tragedy-miracles-and-mercy.html
Be joyful in hope, patient in tribulation and faithful in prayer." Romans 12:12. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Tragedy, Miracles and Mercy. The month of April is one our family will not soon forget. It has been one of those times when we have felt like we have all been put into a giant blender and swirled around at warp speed. We are rejoicing that he is being held in the Arms of Jesus, never to suffer again, but, still our hearts are heavy with sorrow - we will miss him so much. Rejoicing in Hope,. I pray yo...

One day at a time…. March 24, 2008. 8212; thepattersonfour @ 9:15 pm. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and remembered in the midst of egg-dying and bunnies the real reason we celebrate – because He has Risen! I will say that I enjoyed it much more this year because 2 yrs. ago I had the flu (but participated anyway) and last year I was quite. Pregnant with Julianne (she arrived 2 1/2 weeks later). I still only got 5th place this year, but we all had a blast! Four years ago, today…. March 13, 2008.

Water Sports – the Tomball way… | The Patterson Family

One day at a time…. Water Sports – the Tomball way… July 2, 2008. 8212; thepattersonfour @ 5:44 pm. A few weeks ago our neighbors had to drain their pool so they could get a new liner. Instead of flooding everyone’s backyard, they used an electric pump and the hose just happened to fall short of the gutter onto the side yard. Well, it didn’t take the kids 2 minutes to get their swimsuits on and “dive” in. They thought it was great! You would have thought Schlitterbahn had come to Glacier Falls!

One day at a time…. January 30, 2008. 8212; thepattersonfour @ 4:57 pm. Well, two teeth, to be exact. After months of wondering if she was going to have to gum her food to death for the rest of her life, Julianne finally popped out two teeth this month. This should make eating table food much easier! Wishing it were warm…. 8212; thepattersonfour @ 4:07 pm. We are so lucky that both of our parents have pools in the backyard! Go to the park. Play outside with all the neighbor kids. Get a tan. HA! After 9 m...

Table For Five, Please: Preschool Graduation
http://kristenpatt.blogspot.com/2009/05/preschool-graduation.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Jacob had his preschool graduation ceremony last night and even though we are waiting to send him to Kindergarten, it was still a little emotional! His class marched in and took their place on the stage and it didn't take him very long to find us in the audience! Jacob pretty much waved the entire time and took a few breaks to sing or check out the motions of the classmate next to him :) Poor kid kept zoning out and yawning - it was. 7:30 on a school night! Jacob waving to us.

Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Our Trip to the Zoo. Since the zoo is free on certain national holidays, this past Columbus Day we celebrated by visiting the Houston zoo! It wasn't too crowded since several school districts had to make up the day from Ike. It was warm, but bearable. Jacob is an old pro, but this was Julianne's first visit! She just kept saying "Woah! For the pics.). Great day and great naps on the way home! Not me, just the kids :). Sunday, October 12, 2008. Yes, he totally did this. The be...

http://kristenpatt.blogspot.com/2009/06/schools-outforsummer.html
Sunday, June 28, 2009. School's Out.for.Summer! Please forgive the Alice Cooper title. Anyway, we have been trying to stay busy this summer! Here is a little of what we have been up to. Miss Julianne is now in a BIG girl bed! As with any transition, it was probably harder on us than it was for her! She got up ONE time the second night, but so far she is sleeping great! Here is our sleeping princess during the first nap in her bed:. Here are J&J at the splash pad in the Children's Zoo:. I'm done, now.).

Monday, September 15, 2008. Well, we survived Ike! I feel like I should make us all t-shirts proclaiming just that. Here's what went down at the Patterson house:. Friday: Watching news CONSTANTLY! Saturday: Power goes out about 2:45 am. We sit straight up in bed. Hard to go back to sleep, Justin doesn't. Kids sleep through it all. (Hallelujah! It will be a long time until this city returns to normal. Weeks, possibly months until everyone has power. It's still kind of surreal as you drive around a...And k...
