Lost in the Dishwater | Hodgepodge

https://patticlay.wordpress.com/2011/10/18/lost-in-the-dishwater

N A heterogeneous mixture. A jumble. A mess. Lost in the Dishwater. I would blow on the soap bubbles, watch them pop and feel their breath on my face. The smell of Palmolive was clean and fresh. The shriveled skin of my fingertips was a mystery that I relished. The repetitive motion of the dishcloth combined with the warmth of the water, was contemplative for me. I pondered. I dreamed. I imagined. Just think of the pondering-time I have wasted. Perhaps I need to wash dishes again. Follow Blog via Email.

Home Sweet Home | Hodgepodge

https://patticlay.wordpress.com/2011/10/06/home-sweet-home

N A heterogeneous mixture. A jumble. A mess. Home has been many places to me. As a child, home was where my parents were. My comfort was found in my mother’s arms, my father’s laugh and in the companionship of my sister as we stretched our imaginations to their limit. When I fell in love with my husband, home became wherever I was with him – his arms, his laugh and in the stories and dreams we talked about in the dark night. As I reach the half-century mark, I am finally aware that home is within me.

Dreams of my Mother | The View From Here

https://margierigney.wordpress.com/2015/03/11/dreams-of-my-mother

The View From Here. My virtual coffee break…. Dreams of my Mother. I had a dream last night that Mama and I were in church. We were side by side but a few inches apart and we were both looking at three young girls sitting a few rows ahead of us to the right. I think the girls were my sisters and I as teens. Even though we are a decade apart, we were all the same ages (16 or so) or very close…. I think it is us, because Mama was smiling and so proud. Her body was perfect. Her arms slender but toned. I cou...

This Way Up | Seven Tools for Unleashing Your Creative Self and Transforming Your Life

Welcome to This Way Up! 8220;A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.”. 8211; Maya Angelou. Why I made this blog –. Do I want f. Well maybe a little, but mostly, to be honest, this is all a little embarrassing. In my mind I think who am I to be writing a blog, what do I have to say?
