What a beautiful child! After lunch, we loaded up and headed down to the river for a day trip. Boating, knee boarding, tubing, and family fun! Sunday ...

Summer Summary | Graciously Given
https://graciouslygiven.wordpress.com/2011/12/16/summer-summary
Life with a 4-year-old. What else did we do all summer? Here’s a quick glimpse:. Gabriel played t-ball this year. The team was a huge disappointment, but he learned a lot playing at home. He has a great throwing arm and can hit the ball easily, but he still struggles with catching. And sometimes he has trouble just paying attention, as evidence by the photo below. We took several trips to the zoo and the science center as always. Below, Gabriel is riding the Sky Safari at the zoo. And of course we played...

Adventures in Parenthood, with Sarah and Joseph - Starring The Twins, Emma and JoeJoe, and introducing Zoe Elizabeth this Fall! Wednesday, April 13, 2011. The other night, Sarah and I were finishing up dinner and the kids around the house playing. From the living room, where JoeJoe is playing with his trains, we hear, in soto voce. I immediately start to snigger. Sarah looks up, perplexed, as Emma runs by the dining room, whispering huskily, "What the heck is that? What the heck is that? After almost 4 y...

Farms and Festivals | Graciously Given
https://graciouslygiven.wordpress.com/2011/12/16/farms-and-festivals
Life with a 4-year-old. What did we spend our summer doing? Well, obviously we (okay, I) didn’t update the blog! We were busy with many field trips. Yummy Raw Ice Cream. Gabriel had more fun playing with the kids in the yard than listening to the explanation, but that’s to be expected. We also spent our summer ...

Adventures in Parenthood, with Sarah and Joseph - Starring The Twins, Emma and JoeJoe, and introducing Zoe Elizabeth this Fall! Thursday, August 18, 2011. No News is Good News. On the home front, my office has been 75% converted to Zoe's room. The French doors were installed by my great friend, Jonathan (with my unskilled labor assisting), and look fantastic, but I still need to paint them. All of my stuff is out of there (thanks, Jared!
