Friday, August 22, 2008. I got an email from Walgreen's today, for a $5 off coupon on a $20 purchase. The $20 had to be after coupons. I decide this would be a good time to get the rebate stuff I haven't picked up yet. I spent a ridiculous amount of time organizing my coupon binder, but I have gotten so many compliments on it. Sunday, January 18, 2009. Yesterday I wrote about my resolutions. They are nothing new. Just listing that to do list that is always in my head. It is more about finishing what I have started. This weekend I dove head first into a box that contained all the certificates that my children have earned. They have a lot to be proud of. Definitely beats the plastic tub I got going. LOL. Monday, January 19, 2009. Here is my menu plan for the week. I learned years ago, if there is no plan, I have chaos and spend way too much money. Both are very bad! Monday: Roast with potatoes, carrots, and salad. Wednesday: Baked chicken fingers, rice, and a steamed veggie. Thursday: Fajitas and mexican rice. Sunday, November 30, 2008. I am trying to decide what to do about a camera. My Kodak digital with a great zoom is not working so well. I also have a 35 mm Canon EOS with a broken lens. Monday, December 29, 2008. As the year is winding down, I begin to think about resolutions. Does anyone else? For Christmas the boys got a Wii Fit. Guess what it told me? That I was fat! Tuesday, January 27, 2009. This is a close up of a dead tree by my back door. The ice is beautiful. I am praying that we don't loose power this year. We were without last year. I don't think I will ever look at winter storms the same way after that experience. Yesterday, last night, and today we are getting ice. These are the trees that can be seen in my backyard.
