Self-advocacy is an awkward exercise for me - it always has been. What drives me is the writing itself. The whole look at me, look at me aspect of being a singer songwriter is difficult. Yet, in order to keep sustaining myself as a writer, I have to find the right mix of those two things. So, on my songs page of all places, I offer these thoughts. 3 flights of stairs. Will I ever know love. Without ever saying a word. All the time I’m gonna kill. Taken all my life. Until I don’t know when.
