Tuesday, February 26, 2013. The prize Dean asked for while we were trying to potty train was to ride a real horse. Luckily, his new Aunt Jess is a rodeo Queen with a horse named Cowboy. While we were in Utah, Aunt Jess and Uncle Max took the kids for a horse ride. I think the look on Dean's face while waiting for his turn shows that pure excitement. Even Miss Baylee couldn't wait for her turn. I love the excitement on his face! He loved every minute and still talks about it. February 26, 2013 at 8:02 AM.

Sunday, December 9, 2012. Oh, Christmas Tree. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. We are so blessed to have each one of you as family and friends. One really does need kids at Christmas. Look at my house for instance. I have 2 Poinsettia plants (gifts from my VT) and my Santa picture up. No tree, no lights no Nativity. Pretty sad. Tuesday, March 26, 2013. One of five tunnel's. Dean was so cute walking through and exploring. The Historic Train Trail runs along the side of the hill and over looks Lake Mead. It was beautiful. Baylee has a little obsession with necklaces. She won't take them off. While walking through the tunnels she would stop every few steps and drag her necklace in the dirt then stand up and giggle. I wonder what she is thinking. She does some of the funniest things I have ever seen. Paul is such a handsome man!

She is naturally very creative and artistic, but has recently taken up the art of face painting. We aren't talking a rainbow on your cheek at the elementary school carnival, either. On Monday night for Family Home Evening, we decided some pumpkin carving was in order to get us in the holiday mood. Me and Bianca had a blast taking out the "guts" while Jack stood by and complained that it was gross and "gisdusting". Bianca wanted to show you what the guts looked like. And here is me. There is little evidence on the blog that I actually exist, so there you have it.
