Wednesday, February 9, 2011. A couple of 30's. So today my mother turns 60! Of course we all think that she is the best, so we wanted to do something special for her. we decided to give her a little surprise. It took several greetings to get her attention, but her reaction was PRICELESS! I can't believe none of us had a camera rolling. oh well. Thursday, July 31, 2008. Here the coping and deck have been poured - what a difference! This is where the diving board will be - and before rocks were put up. And we say these things. Here is an example of the sturdy scaffolding that the workers were standing on while we had our little earthquake the other day - surprisingly nobody fell - Brad likes to scare the heck out of mom and walk out on the boards - he likes to live dangerously - he is a rebel. The spa is ginormous now - LOVE IT!

Tuesday, July 19, 2011. And so it begins. A few pictures from the last few years. Family Christmas picture 2008. Christmas morning - 2008. Sun is up and presents are still unopened. How could I let this happen? 2009 - Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Dinner. The boys had to make a cake and the moms couldn't help! It was pure torture for me. June 2009 - Camp Pendleton 10k Mud Run. Brad had fun getting down and dirty. June 2009 - Nathan got braces! 2009 - San Diego Comic Con. This kid was in HEAVEN. So was this one.

Thursday, June 12, 2008. Time for some changes. For those who have been to my parents house this is a typical picture of their pool. It's been in the family for 24 years and we've had plenty of fun in it. The spa has had it's fair share of dish soap bubbles, friends, and grand kids over the years. Here are a few "before" shots. Times a changin' and it's time for a pool face lift! Brad wanted nothing more than to get this thing empty so he could skate it. Brad emptying the spa. This pool is ENORMOUS!

With all that life has going on i attempt to finally finish this post - i actually started this back in September - it is now October 26th.oh blah dee. I remember when I was a kid I used to think that you went to school for a year then had summer vacation for a year. Friday, June 24, 2011. No more of this for a couple of months. This was ben's "spelling word sentences" homework from back in march. when i read his first sentence i thought - yikes! So i asked him about it and he told me it was a quote from toy story 3.of course.the 2nd sentence should have been my first clue. ha ha.) and i did make sure that i made a note on there with an explanation to the teacher!
