What we are Up to. Saturday, November 23, 2013. We were in the Mesa's Veteran's Day parade with American Mothers as an honored Mother for 2013. Tamara Passey (Young Mother of the Year), Judy Ward (Mother of the Year), and Mari (Mother of Achievement). The three of us road on the back of the convertible. What we are Up to. Friday, December 14, 2012. 12-12-12 @ 12:12 pm. Where were you at 12-12-12 @ 12:12 pm? The girls took gifts into their school friends for this cool day! They wanted a party, but I didn't think it was necessary to take them out of school for it. (They were just a little bit sad about that.) Both girls got a fun treat in their lunches to celebrate. What we are Up to. Monday, April 8, 2013. Shhh Don't tell the girls they had an educational Spring Break. Tuesday, we met with several elected officials at the State Capitol and got to see how laws are created. ( see this post. And took a tour of the State Capitol. S was in charge of the camera! Love seeing things through the eyes of a child. (note, these are only a VERY small percentage of the ones she took). From the Executive Tower across the old Capitol towards downtown Phoenix. Paul loves to explore!

Friday, April 27, 2012. I ran my first 5K the day before Easter. It was along the Shore of Lake Michigan, and was sooo pretty. A friend from my ward trained and ran with me. We had a great time. After- We did it! The Petting Zoo located at the race was definitely fun for Nathan. He adores animals and has no fear of poking or playing with them.
