Thursday, August 28, 2008. So long St. V's! St Vincent's Hospital - Birmingham. Tomorrow is the last day of my rotation at St. Vincent's Hospital. It has been a great experience and I've learned quite a bit over the last 4 weeks. We rounded with the Infectious Disease doctors each day, helped in the clinic, and got to be involved in a variety of patient care activities. After my final exam tomorrow, I am headed to Nashville for the month of September. I have a psych rotation at the Murfreesboro VA. There...

Tuesday, May 19, 2009. We finally coordinated schedules to set a date/place for a Girls' Night. It was one of the first times we've been able to all get together following the latest multiplication. It was great to see everyone and even some new faces, too. Colton acted as the head of the table of lovely ladies, until his daddy came to rescue him. Bethany, Jamie and Heather. Martha, Ashley and Lori. Some of my new favorite friends, Maloree and Audry. Closer shot of the far end of the table.

The Walters: Monkey Grass & Green Acres
http://bretandlanie.blogspot.com/2009/04/monkey-grass-and-green-acres.html
Saturday, April 4, 2009. Monkey Grass and Green Acres. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to go see Rick and Bubba. For those of you living in the dark, R and B are a nationally syndicated radio show based out of Birmingham. They are two Christian guys who tell it like it is and have a lot of fun in the process. If they aren't on a station in your area, you can listen online or on XM radio channel 158. Get in the loop! Laughing big in the studio. It was SO cool to see it LIVE! What a great invitation!

Monday, July 28, 2008. I'm a Fellowshippin', I'm a Fellowshippin'. So here is a little insight into the last 9 years of our life at camp. Some of my favorite memories:. Bret leading singing on the porch. The excitement of those kids (and adults) praising God is unbelievable. Singing underneath the stars. Great talent show performances:. Wade-mandolin, Libby-singing, Dad-guitar and harmony. Ribbon Dancers and Salsa Dancers. I Kissed My Wife. And I Liked It" - this year's spoof to the not so nice pop song.

Thursday, December 25, 2008. Here are each of our family cards that went out this year. Hope your family had a very blessed holiday! Monday, December 22, 2008. Bret's BCBS AL Christmas Party this year was last weekend at the Wynfrey Hotel. It always makes for some quality laughs. Especially since I only see these folks once a year. The band "Dr. Feel Good" made a return appearance. Everybody out on the dance floor having fun. I even got ole B out on the floor for one song. Some people really love Elvis.

The Walters: Easter Weekend
http://bretandlanie.blogspot.com/2009/04/easter-weekend.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2009. We celebrated Easter in Nashville this year and got to spend some quality time with both of our families. Even the St. Louis crew came to join in on the fun. Libby did a cute photo shoot of the girls at The Factory. In Franklin and then we enjoyed some fun activities with the girls (and a great meal) at my parents' house. Read a cute blog. From my fabulous sister-in-law, Dorothy, about the time we shared. Even Grandpa joined in for the Bronco. Now we just need one in Birmingham!
