After a horrific spleen-smashing 2 and a half hours on the boat back from Capurgana, we were actually looking forward to arriving into the industrial port of Turbo. But twenty minutes from arrival, the boats engines sputtered. Then stalled. Then there was silence. Broken only by the wild laughing and bright optimism of our piloto. Warm slippery grey mud bubbled and flowed into a pool 150 feet across. We cautiously entered and. floated!

Monday, May 21, 2012. Can't believe our little guy is already 3! He is really into his barn and animals- thus, we decided on a cowboy themed party! Everyone came dressed in their Western best and we had a great BBQ, games, and animal hunt and then a pony and petting zoo come to the parking strip in our front for the kids- no, we did not get a permit, but everyone loved it! Keaton, I already feel sorry for you, as your 1st bday is just with small family :). May 22, 2012 at 4:01 PM. It was so fun!

She is getting quite the personality- always happy, lots of big smiles and loves to laugh! People loved the costume pairing: The UPS Guy and his package! Porter got into trick-or-treating but didn't get the candy was his- we have enjoyed some great treats as a result! I love those two-.
