Wednesday, December 31, 2014. On the road to Austin Texas! We left Utah on December 27th around 3 pm We drove through beautiful mountains covered in white. And saw beautiful skies too as we travel through Arizona. Here's how we rolled on the roads:. We drove for 4 days (our long stop was in Vegas where we farewelled my sisters and their families). Tuesday, March 31, 2015. It's a beautiful, nice day outside today! Perfect weather for the end of the month and some trail exercise. So that's what we did! Maile and I did an awesome 5 mile on the trail. He's the best workout child in the world! He did about 2 miles on foot and hopped in and out of the stroller. Thursday, July 16, 2015. Visiting State Capitol building. Our summers are usually spent with lots of family time (we miss you Utah families) parades, festivals and fun in Utah. This summer we've decided to just stay in Austin and enjoy more time and fun together! Besides fun, our school aged kids requested some summer homeschool time because they really, really love school and miss it a lot. Along with our learning at home we try to incorporate a field trip with it. They are always together.

Wednesday, February 25, 2015. This week we've been experiencing freezing temperatures (between 28-32 degrees with some rain, icicles and black ice). It was good weather for us). I was introduced to a new recipe this past fall and I have used it so many times I decided I needed to share it. This recipe starts with whole wheat grain so it is really good for you since the fresh ground wheat hasn't had most of its' nutrition degraded by sitting around on the shelf. Sunday, March 9, 2014. Disney World and the Beach! We had a great trip to Florida with some of Darrin's family. Coy got back from his mission in South Africa, and 2 weeks later we dragged him to Disney World. He was a great sport and it was so fun to have him home! Then we headed to Clear water Beach for a few days. The first day we were there it was really chilly and windy, but the next day it warmed up a little and the kids had a great morning at the beach. We had a great trip! Do you think he loved it?
