I have taken pictures of food lately. One Project was called "water". Then I took pictures for a local KC chef, specializing on Thai Food and Sushi. Yum! Project: Kansas City Walls, April 2016. Kansas City is not only the city of fountains, but also the city of really great walls. So I went to the best places to take pictures of them. This collage (on the left) is available as a print. Und "I like your earrings/sunglasses/coat/shoes." gehören zu fast jedem Gespräch ganz automatisch mit dazu. Auch auffällig: Die Amerikaner(innen? Er wurde bereits 1872 gegründet und ist damit der älteste Nationalpark der Welt. Hier in Amerika (oder zumindest in Kansas) hat der Rasen irgendwie eine andere Konsistenz als bei uns: Er ist fester und dicker und wächst viel schneller, besonders zu dieser Jahreszeit. Die Amerikaner hegen und pflegen ihn wie verrückt: Sie wässern und mähen ihn und passen auf, dass kein Unkraut darauf wächst. Alle Nachbarn rings herum sind natürlich auch sehr fleißig! Samstag, 26. April 2014. Der Fußballclub von KC heißt "Sporting KC". Allerdings hat in Amerika ja der Baseball einen sehr hohen Stellenwert. Deshalb ist wohl für die Leute in KC das Kauffman Stadium.
