Mainly Mysteries: October 2005
http://mainly-mysteries.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Discussions about mystery and crime fiction. Saturday, October 22, 2005. Famous Real People as Sleuths. We had a very fascinating meeting last night, writes Jeannine. The topic was quite broad famous real people as sleuths. From Elizabeth I to Elvis. It was a good sized group, and many members had read more than one qualifying title (and some of us only part of one qualifying title). I took three pages of notes. We talked a LOT. So here we go:. The Eleanor Roosevelt mysteries by her son Elliott Roosevelt.

John Dickson Carr: Djävulen i sammet, Bruden i Newgate, Strängt hemligt. En flod av deckare. De bästa i min mening har antingen prästen Athelstane eller skrivaren Hugh Corbett som huvudpersoner. Charles Dickens: En historia om två städer. Mord i Egypten under Tutankhamon.

Book Junkie: July 2013
http://alan-scott.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Writer of mysteries, science-fiction and quality management systems! Thursday, July 11, 2013. Review of Darkness Roams by Nomar Knight. Having met and spent time with the author in Puerto Rico, I understand his numerous references to the beautiful island in Darkness Roams. Although a great read, some seems aren’t for the weak of heart. Or stomach. Knight describes in gritty detail Oscuro’s eternal punishment of his victims. His depictions are graphic and leave little to the imagin...Penned by Alex Morgan.

Paul Doherty's blog: October 2008

Tuesday, October 21, 2008. I was in France last July at Bayeux in Normandy for their mediaeval fair and book event. I do recommend it as a lovely place to visit. The mediaeval fair was true to its name, tournaments, pageants and even insight into how stonemasons worked. I did a lot of book signing there and picked up a few new ideas. Recent publications "Nightshade" and the recent Corbett have been received very well, as has the "Templar" but I am looking forward to new projects. The Spies of Sobeck" is ...

Book Junkie: December 2013
http://alan-scott.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Writer of mysteries, science-fiction and quality management systems! Sunday, December 15, 2013. Review of I-35 by Brett Selmont. I downloaded the Kindle version of this story a few weeks ago when a friend posted the cover pic on Pinterest. Of course, being an Okie, the words 'I-35' and 'Oklahoma' sparked my curiosity and the blurb made it sound exciting. The blurb was not wrong. This isn't for everyone, especially the faint of heart, but it is a wild ride. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Penned by Alex Morgan.
