In two days, the madness begins (Dragon*Con). Aug 28th, 2012 at 10:51 AM. In a little less than 48 hours, we'll be on the road for Dragon*Con. And by "we" I mean myself,. Two of my cow-irkers (in a van together for the 6-hour haul to Atlanta), and about 60,000 of our closest friends. We'll be there through Tuesday morning, when we'll do the trip in reverse. So don't come to the house while we're gone, or you'll face the wrath of the 19-year-old cranky tortie. ;). 1:30 -2:30 Les Johnson and Timothy Zahn.

Con in Review: ConTemporal. Jun 29th, 2012 at 8:59 PM. This past weekend,. And I attended ConTemporal. A new, local to us sf-steampunk convention. As a mostly retired conrunner myself, the highest praise I can give them is this: it didn't feel like a first-year con. Also note: they had to expand their room block - not once, but twice.
