Experiments in life, travel, and song. Sunday, February 01, 2009. I don't know how long they let these things go without someone making changes, and I wanted to keep it running for use someday, so here's a short entry. When there is more reason to use it (i.e.-publicity for book, etc.) it will be back in action. Posted by A Man without a Band at 10:09 AM. Tuesday, October 18, 2005. Hey, it worked! Don't you just love Magnolia trees? They were great for forts and climbing when I was a kid in Georgia.

Experiments in life, travel, and song. Monday, May 30, 2005. It's kind of sad that we are happy that people died so we can have a three day weekend. Keep that war machine rumbling. Posted by A Man without a Band at 9:48 AM. A Man without a Band. As far as this blog is concerned, I love travel, karaoke, and my girl (not necessarily in that order) and writing about the many wonderful mysteries surrounding all three. View my complete profile. Hey, it worked! Patience, my friends. If ya' got the time.

Experiments in life, travel, and song. Thursday, March 24, 2005. Author's note: This entry runs about 4 dbl spaced pages in MS Word. One thing I forgot to mention was one of my choices for this evening. Buffalo Springfield's, "For What it's Worth." Without the video, this time. 23rd March, 2005. So you want to talk about strange? Well, much to my chagrin, the Blue Kat has long since closed in Cedar City, and we’re left with only a couple choices, the same ol’ crackers, you know? Oh, it was on. As for the...

Experiments in life, travel, and song. Monday, August 15, 2005. Because we didn't take pictures. Author's note: This is another one for my girl, and as the title implies, I wrote it to keep the memories fresh from our trip to Montana and Idaho (three months ago? Because we didn't take pictures. A full car from the very start. Heidi and John’s back porch, Rattlesnake Creek rumbling through Greenough Park just beyond our visual senses. Dancing to Tom Catmull at Sean Kelly’s. Sun Thank God for the sun.

Experiments in life, travel, and song. Tuesday, July 05, 2005. I’m still a little mystified that you were so bothered by the group of young tourists with the video camera in the Sportsmen’s. Remember the story I told you about those three film students I ran into in Mexico on that dark night miles away from any. So I wrote this for you and it’ll also segue nicely into the second half of Connecticut? Let them tell stories. Because there’s something about you. They wanted to take with them. Of Rocky Racoon,.

Saturday, December 31, 2005. Posting from the home of Missuz J (I'm so cool). Southern Utah for New Year's! I know you're wondering, what's so great about New Year's in Southern Utah, well, I'll tell you. Thursday, September 29, 2005. Are you sick of me yet? Three posts in three days. That must be some kind of record for me. I know it doesn't hold a candle to Stine's 3 posts in one day today, but, hey, I'm trying. (love you stine! Tuesday, November 22, 2005. Parting shots (again), it must be the holidays. It just seems a little too intense. She and Clark read them, and talked about them, and about how those things happened a long time ago, and that she didn't need to worry about any volcanos in Albuquerque, but I'm bordering on resentful that I didn't get to chose when to have those kinds of conversations with her. I know I'm being overprotective, but still. Am I crazy here? Stupid me. TMI? Posted by amandak @ 12:45 PM. It just se...

http://thekrausehouse.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html

Thursday, June 30, 2005. Home again, home again, jiggedy jig. Warning: this one is LONG. Making up for lost time I guess. Who waited tables weekends at a fantastic breakfast spot on Cannery Row by the ocean. Our location of choice for skipping school. In Cedar, the choices were pretty much deep fried something at the local greasy spoon, or fend for yourself at the gas station, which was the main school skipping snack spot. Sad. Back to the family for a sec, then I better wrap up, the kids are calling.

Sunday, January 22, 2006. Thank god. FINALLY. The desk is finally done, the chair is finally bought (and assembled), and the new computer is here, set up, wireless enabled, and working. Whoda thunk it? Not I I was seriously starting to think it was just not meant to be. Friday, May 27, 2005. I already wrote most of this post once today, that'll teach me for leaving the screen up in reach of the 3 year old. It's officially the first day of summer vacation. I don't know what the hell I'm going to do with both kids in the house all day every day for the next 2 and a 1/2 months. Tranquilizers maybe? Today, I will close with a few of the more precious sayings of my darling boy. Three year olds say the darndest things. His new made-up word is "chonk". It apprears ...As in giv...
