The Random Jottings of Paul Donnelley. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. The answer is not blowin' in the wind. Wind turbines are a giant waste of hot - and cold - air. They don't work in the cold and if it is too cold, they have to be switched off in case they get damaged. Oh and if it is too cold they have to be heated thus causing them to cost more money than they actually save. Madness. Now, we learn that they will be have to switched off. For 38 days a year. If it gets too windy. Utter, utter madness.

When drugs are discussed, many say that since the war on drugs has been lost, we should decriminalise all drugs. My view is that the war on drugs has not been lost, it was never fought.
