In My Own Element: Inspired by Poetry
http://kaishaofthesea.blogspot.com/2011/09/inspired-by-poetry.html
In My Own Element. Thursday, September 15, 2011. Every now and then a campaign comes along and really makes you think or fall in love with it, and right now it's the Levi's Freedom campaign for me. Not because of the art direction or cinematography, but because of the copy they chose to use. I love that they have taken classic poetry and made it even more poetic. For example:. The Laughing Heart by Charles Bukowski. Your life is your life. Don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission. Be on the watch.

In My Own Element: Winter in New York
http://kaishaofthesea.blogspot.com/2009/12/winter-in-new-york.html
In My Own Element. Saturday, December 5, 2009. Winter in New York. The first snowfall in New York has officially fallen and I believe it's time to start blogging again as many interesting things have happened in the past six months. As excited as I am for the holiday season and the beautiful Christmas lights and outdoor ice rinks, I'm not too excited for the freezing cold weather. Luckily it hasn't been bad at all.not yet at least. Kaisha De La Mare. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Kaisha De La Mare.

In My Own Element: Bucket List
http://kaishaofthesea.blogspot.com/2010/10/bucket-list.html
In My Own Element. Thursday, October 21, 2010. There has been a LONG space in time between this post and my last one, so I figured I should change that. That past few months I have been hearing a lot of people talk about their bucket list, 30 things to do before they're 30, or 25 before 25, etc., and I have decided I want to start my own and put a little twist on it. I have come to the conclusion you can pretty much do anything in the United States, but why not go do it somewhere else? Kaisha De La Mare.

In My Own Element: The Power of Pizza
http://kaishaofthesea.blogspot.com/2009/06/power-of-pizza.html
In My Own Element. Monday, June 22, 2009. The Power of Pizza. Then out of nowhere Lori starts speaking to these guys in Spanish! There was also the lady who spilled her drink everywhere on the subway and I happened to have a massive wad of napkins for the pizza. I think that's the only time I have ever heard the phrase "Napkin God" used. Gotta love the odds, especially since who ever has a handfull of napkins on the subway? Kaisha De La Mare. Gotta love new york and the kindness of strangers.

In My Own Element: Going Old School
http://kaishaofthesea.blogspot.com/2010/01/going-old-school.html
In My Own Element. Monday, January 25, 2010. So the other night my roommates and I started talking about how the 90s was probably the greatest era for music, which of course led to us compiling a massive playlist (it's in the works) and blasting some of the most amazing songs we could recall. I mean who doesn't like some Sublime, Will Smith, Brandy, Jewel, and Bon Jovi? Will Smith - Gettin' Jiggy Wit It / Miami / Summertime. NSYNC - Tearin' Up My Heart. Britney Spears - Baby One More Time. Offspring - Pr...

In My Own Element: Typography Controversy
http://kaishaofthesea.blogspot.com/2010/03/typography-controversy.html
In My Own Element. Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Whether you have an eye for design or not, a bad typography can have a tremendous effect on how you view a product or business. We used to always joke around about how there are three fonts that should not be used: Comic Sans, Papyrus, and Hobo Std. These fonts have been overused and used in the worst ways possible, making even a grown man cry (I've seen it happen). From Sam and Anita. Kaisha De La Mare. March 3, 2010 at 4:25 PM.
