Did you know in order to get a travel permit (visa) to enter Tibet, you have to stay in China two or three days for the request to be processed? You can't get the permit in advance. That was fun. The day to day life and travels of an ordinary person. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Okay I'm finally taking the plunge and setting up my own blogspot. I've avoided it for some time but with the urging of my daughters, I'm going for it today. Less than a week ago I just got back from Honduras. I met two other ladies (from North Dakota) in San Pedro Sula where we taught sewing at a center for the deaf. We also had ladies who could hear, but the major focus was for the deaf community. This bird slammed into our window repeatedly the other night. It finally came to rest for a few seconds on the window sill. I snapped a quick picture. One of my professors who is a bird watcher said the bird is probably a Sharp-shinned Hawk or a Cooper's Hawk. Kaden learned how to ride a bike this week!
