One Little Polish Girl: I want to shoo...shoo...oo...ooo...ooo...ooot the whole...day...down.

One Little Polish Girl. Standing my ground, no matter how slippery the slope. Wednesday, June 24, 2015. I want to shoo.shoo.oo.ooo.ooo.ooot the whole.day.down. I've been thinking a lot about guns. The most recent shooting of nine innocent people really shook me up and made me incredibly angry. I keep feeling that we're on the verge of such despair here in this country and that's not how I want to feel about the US. We can do better than that. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). One Little Polish Girl: That was the week that was...
http://onelittlepolishgirl.blogspot.com/2015/06/that-was-week-that-was.html
One Little Polish Girl. Standing my ground, no matter how slippery the slope. Friday, June 19, 2015. That was the week that was. This week sucked on a whole new level. I had two of my middle management people out on vacation and, of course, that is when everything decides to go to hell in a hand basket. As you may remember, I work in mental health and AODA services, mainly crisis on a day to day basis, and this week it seemed that almost all of Kenosha was in crisis. That made me ill. Depth of Processing: Inspirational Ideas
http://depthofprocessing.blogspot.com/2014/11/inspirational-ideas.html
Depth of Processing* is from Gregory Turco. See 16Feb 2009's blog. Friday, November 14, 2014. I was at a talk, and the keynote speaker made a few points. Here are my thoughts on them. Life is suffering, but people are made to struggle. There are two fears: the fear of exposure and the fear of conflict. The fear of exposure is perfectionism, and courage is required to overcome it. The fear of conflict comes from imbalance in two important values: compassion and connection. Depth Of Processing Pages.

One Little Polish Girl: My bucket list...
http://onelittlepolishgirl.blogspot.com/2015/07/my-bucket-list.html
One Little Polish Girl. Standing my ground, no matter how slippery the slope. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. I was reading something about a young girl who made a Bucket List and then passed away quite unexpectedly. Her list was passed around on the internet and went viral as more and more people read her life's dreams. It got me to thinking about the things I would like to do before I die. So here, in no particular order, is my Bucket List. 1 See a real mountain, up close, in person. 3 Get a dog.

One Little Polish Girl: A question of friends...
http://onelittlepolishgirl.blogspot.com/2015/06/a-question-of-friends.html
One Little Polish Girl. Standing my ground, no matter how slippery the slope. Monday, June 29, 2015. A question of friends. It's just the internet. That's a phrase I have used on other people before when they've gotten upset about something on Facebook. It's just the internet. And who are these people to me, really? More than likely I would never, ever meet them in real life and my opinion of their beliefs did not matter a diddly squat to them so would it even matter? It felt strangely good.

Depth of Processing: What we drink
http://depthofprocessing.blogspot.com/2013/08/what-we-drink.html
Depth of Processing* is from Gregory Turco. See 16Feb 2009's blog. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Gallap tabulated the change in American's beverage tastes, and The Atlantic. The results show a mixed bag of healthy drinks increases like water and tea, and a drop in juice. I'd like to think it is the low nutrition content of the juice, but it probably was the high price. Soft drinks also dropped. Wine and liquor continue to displace beer. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Depth Of Processing Pages.

Depth of Processing: April 2014
http://depthofprocessing.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Depth of Processing* is from Gregory Turco. See 16Feb 2009's blog. Monday, April 21, 2014. Shoe Review: My running shoe update. I have purchased three pairs of shoes since the last review in 2012. These are the Adidas Boost Supernova, the Brooks Rivenna 4, and the Brooks Ghost 6. A pretty nice shoe, but I don't wear it much. I have had sore feet and need more protections. Here you can see the bottom, and the "gel" in the sole. It is an OK shoe, and I still wear it once in a while. Links to this post.
