You may remember that in 2014 I made two children's jumpers using donated (to me) Spectrum Detroit Chunky yarn. One blue and one orange, which were sold with the proceeds going to the community centre. Paulineknit A life of hand knitting. Tuesday, 11 November 2014. You may remember that in June I knitted and donated 21 poppies to Huntingdon Library. There should have been thirty poppies but I didn't get them all finished in time. While knitting outside All Saints Church on 14th June for Worldwide Knit in Public Day 2014. One of the knitters requested knitted poppies for St Hugh's Church in Buckden. The remaining nine of my intended thirty were all made as field poppies (pattern here. Cast on 7 stitches.

The first was a pair of socks using Wendy Roam Fusion 4ply, 75% wool, 25% nylon on 2.5mm needles. A friend had made the first sock but decided not to continue.
