Monday, June 30, 2008. My decision to study abroad. Ever since I went abroad to the South Pacific with People to People in the summer of '06, I've been wanting to experience more. My hunger for travel and living with other cultures has never left me. So, after nomination for the AFX scholarship and receiving $1,000 (thanks sooooo much Mrs. Brown! So, i got my visa back today - i have to give the consulate credit.they processed that sucker in under three days. i'm 7 days until leaving, finally packed for the most part, now all i have to do is wait! Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Waiting on that darn visa! When AFS said this whole process was 99% waiting, they weren't kidding. I sent my visa in last wednesday, and i hope that the consulate will send it back to me in time.i'm 8 days till leaving! Sunday, February 8, 2009.
