Pauliwog's Puddle: Washigton, Day 2: San Juan Islands.
http://pauliwogs.blogspot.com/2011/11/washigton-day-2-san-jaun-islands.html
Monday, November 7, 2011. Washigton, Day 2: San Juan Islands. Zack and I woke up at about 6:30am. Zack LOVES breakfast and thus loves staying at B&B's. We had talked with the owner of the B&B about getting breakfast before the normal time of 8 o'clock so that we would have time to make it to the Ferry in Anacortes on time. She had graciously told us that she would have breakfast ready for us at about 7 oclock. We finally made it out to out put in and we carried our boats down to the shore. We then go...

Pauliwog's Puddle: January 2011
http://pauliwogs.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 29, 2011. Voddie Baucham: Food for thought. Zack and I had talked about it some, but Zack had been sick all week and had been coming home from work to crash only to repeat the process the next day. So, I had forgotten about it. Friday, our friend Anna Lauren sent out a text about tickets. So, I txt'd Zack at work to see if he wanted to go. Anna Lauren ended up having an extra ticket and we bought the other one at the door. Here's a little promo video about it:. So, having just completed...

Pauliwog's Puddle: Washington Day 3: North Cascades, Cascade Pass
http://pauliwogs.blogspot.com/2011/11/washington-day-3-north-cascades-cascade.html
Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Washington Day 3: North Cascades, Cascade Pass. Zack and I woke at 8:00 and headed down to breakfast. Zack had read online reviews about the breakfast at the Wild Iris Inn and he was really excited about it. The breakfast did not disappoint. After we finished our first course, our bubbly waitress brought out our second course, a ham and spinach frittata with vegetable Bearnaise. It was A-mazing. We had SOOOO much food, but somehow, Zack and I cleaned our plates. Before Zack and...

Pauliwog's Puddle: July 2011
http://pauliwogs.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 21, 2011. What's in your mailbox? Monday, when I went to work, a coworker of mine walked up to me and said, "what did ya'll think about the bomb scare in our neighborhood this weekend". I gaped at her for a minute and then said. "what bomb scare? I told Zack about the strange exchange I had with my coworker at work. A few days later Zack texted me to let me know that he had read an article somewhere about the bomb scare in our neighborhood. According to the article, the mysterious pack...

Pauliwog's Puddle: August 2010
http://pauliwogs.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 29, 2010. A little more decor for work. I recently made a couple of flower decorations. Dinner at the puddle. Disappointed with the pork. While the meat was tender, it lacked the flavor that we have had in other pork/apple recipes. It was a good home cooked meal, but I probably would opt for a different recipe for apple pork chops in the future. Zack was just happy to have a home cooked meal. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. It's a little bit sad. Snacks for small group. Lawn Olympics 2010 (LO10).

A New Journey: August 2009
http://journeyrhuston.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 30, 2009. The first week of classes was a little overwhelming. It's been difficult for me to get back into the swing of things after such a great summer, but it's got to be done. This semester I am taking Dreams as a Resource for Pastoral Care, Church History 1, and Christian Ethics. I think my favorite class is going to be Dreams followed by Ethics. It looks like this semester is going to keep me busy with lots of school work, but I'll get through it one step at a time. End of Summer Blues.

Sunday, June 19, 2011. One of our dear family friends got married this weekend. We wish all the happiness in the world for Coach Wood and his new wife. We are thrilled that he has been able to find such a wonderful woman to marry and we were honored to be able to be there to support him on this special day. The day after the wedding was father's day. Zack's dad got up and made wonderful omlets f...

Pauliwog's Puddle: December 2010
http://pauliwogs.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 29, 2010. The hazards of playing frisbee. I like to tell myself that ultimate Frisbee is not a contact sport, because technically it isn't, but unfortunately the nature of the game often lends itself to injury due to contact with another player, the ground, or in Zack's case today, the disk itself! Zack came home tonight after practice and he had a big bruise across the bridge of his nose. What in the world! Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Fogg and Karen come to visit. Fogg is a very quie...
