THE GEAR I USE. TRICKS & TIPS. Archive for the ‘ SOFTWARE REVIEWS. Inspiring Panorama’s – Shooting panoramas with a drone. The great thing about shooting pano’s with the Inspire 1. After some experimentation I settled on shooting 4:3 Raw stills and in order to provide plenty of overlap for stitching them together I shot around 16 images per 360 degree rotation. I found I could cover from 30 degrees up to 90 degrees straight down using four rotations so ended up with around 70 stills per pano location.

THE GEAR I USE. TRICKS & TIPS. Time for new cameras – Testing the Sony FS5 & A7sII. Shooting with the Canon C300. Over the last few years has been a real pleasure, the form factor worked perfectly for my single op shooting style and I was rarely disappointed by the image quality. The C300 was always a little crippled by it’s recording capability though, it’s highest frame rate option of 50 fps at 1280×720 seemed disappointing even when the camera was released. Ability to shoot Super Slow Motion at 1080p.
