While studying art at San Diego State, I was drawn to the sculpture department. The idea of 3 dimensional objects, and the space they contain and how they react with their environment, launched my career in art. I’ve always been aware and sensitive to the material, be it clay, wood or metal, and enjoy the handling and shaping of each. Paul and his lovely wife Roberta reside in Valley Center, a rural community in North San Diego County along with more than 60 organic fruit trees, and a cozy art studio.
