This tradition continues family and continues to be passed on to our children and grand children here in the Lodi. The board of directors deemed it to be too costly to continue and ended their yearly coronation of a Queen for the event after 47 years in 1981. Angela Parises Brusa is the Daughter of Dan (Simeon) and Elisa Parises, and the Mother of Gianna Sophia, Sister of Paul (Simeon) Parises and is the aunt and god mother of Sophia Breanne.

Why do I do it? I recently got a Ph.D. in astrophysics at Stanford and worked as an instructional consultant at the Center for Teaching and Learning at Stanford. If you're interested, this site shows a little about who I am and what I do. As you can see from this site, I like learning, and I like teaching. I view them as two sides to the same coin. Physics happens to be the subject about which I study and teach the most, and it's really a joy.
