As you know I do an annual party at my house on the last day of school.this year was lots of fun too! We added a new member, a buddy for Eli. Thursday, April 28, 2011. My baby is 2! Here are some pictures from Maddy's big day. She was such a nice host, greeting everyone, giving hugs and kisses and saying "Tay-too" when she opened her gifts. She makes me so happy. :0. Our little princess got to eat in a big girl chair with her own special plate and magic wand. Maddy and cousin Bryan before the rest of the guests arrive! Maddy's awesome birthday cake! Thursday, December 23, 2010. As you can see Santa was not a big hit for Maddy this year. It was her first time and she actually thought he looked cool and seemed ok with the idea until she realized Mommy was going to drop her on his lap and run away! Now, I have been going back and forth about Santa and Maddy because as a child I didn't like Santa and never believed in him, so why make my daughter believe in him? Madelyn was the reason I started getting in shape and she has always been so amazing hanging out in the jogging stroller all the time when I wanted to go running. I am really lucky to have a child who will be such a good girl and let mommy stay in shape without feeling guilty! Maddy and mommy thought it would be funny to make her face match her shirt! Friday, February 18, 2011. Maddy dressing up in Dadd'ys shoes. Yes, i am too lazy to button her onesie together. Give me a break, she is potty training! Sunday, September 26, 2010. No pics yet, but I did complete my very first 5K race ever! My goal, since it was a hilly course, was to not stop to walk and to run it in 40 minutes. Well, I ran it in 30 minutes and 38 seconds! We are finding more to do now, there is a 5K that is connected with the Seattle Marathon in November, then the Jingle Bell Jog in December, St. Paddy's Day Dash in March. Exciting Times in the Paulson Family. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Trey's First Ocean Trip. In early August, the Paulson family took a trip to Ocean Park, located in southwest Washington on the coast. This was Trey's first trip to the ocean and the beach. A great time was had by all! Saturday morning we went on a walk to the beach. We loaded Trey up in the backpack and away we went. Once at the beach, the boys were set loose to explore and enjoy the sand and water. The boys enjoyed each other on the beach.
