Thursday, April 10, 2014. Anyway, I have to host 2 times and I did my first time this last week. The kids did great. Josh was super excited to be part of the big kid group and I hardly saw Annabelle she was so busy entertaining all the kids. All the kids eating lunch picnic style. Funny story about Isaac. And I will admit the kids were pretty much hilarious to listen to. They play this game where one kids says, "Hey, why is everyone looking at (fill in the blank with a kids name)". Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Decorating the Christmas Tree. I love Christmas time so much. There are just so many fun things to do as a family. It is so great to be able to share traditions with my children and watch them get excited about the same things that I used to get excited about. Annabelle carefully places each ornament. The crowning moment. Placing the star on the tree. I want to help too! And the best part? Every time they saw the tree, they maintained the same sense of delight and wonder.

Sunday, July 6, 2014. There are some things that sound a lot better then they are. 4th of July isn't one of them. Here's a great idea. Keep your kids up way past their bedtime so that they are exhausted. Then when they are overtired and at the highest risk for being overstimulated start making really loud noises and flash really bright lights in their face repeatedly. After getting them really excited, expect them to sleep even though it sounds like a war is going on outside. Does that sound fun to you?
