Saturday, February 14, 2009. A week for penguins. This week Milton Keynes resembled the frozen tundra of Siberia, as a cold front from Russia brought wintry conditions to the UK. They say we’ve not seen so much snow for at least twenty years. I for one hope it is at least twenty years until such wintry weather returns. It has been horrible. I may sound like a killjoy. Why was I not out making snowmen and igloos, or throwing snowballs at unsuspecting children? It was a shame that news reports chose to foc...

Friday, April 10, 2009. The Greatest Club in the Land? If anyone was in doubt as to which club is the greatest football club in the land, on Sunday they got their answer. Could I talking about Manchester United, who snatched a last minute victory against Aston Villa? No, in fact I'm talking about Luton Town FC! That Luton were unable to increase their ticket allocation. How many other clubs could count on such fantastic support in such dire circumstances? Liverpool in 2006. Of course this was only th...

Sunday, February 28, 2010. A Vote For Change? The Tories have announced their campaign slogan. "A Vote For Change". This sums up the Tories' lack of substance, giving people no hint of what kind of change we may see. The Labour slogan will be "A Future Fair For All". Here's my own, rather crude, take on the two slogans. Labels: a future fair for all. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. A Vote For Change? Follow me on Twitter. Monday, December 31, 2012. Tuesday, January 4, 2011. A letter published in the MK News July. Sir – I was interested to read Mark Lancaster's words, "speaking out" against the variation in life expectancy between rich and poor areas. It seems to me that Mr Lancaster MP has forgotten his party is now in Government. He has not stated how his party is seeking to change things for the better, or indeed made any commitment to reduce the gap at all! Wednesday, September 1, 2010. I myself fell into the same trap...

My telescope is a Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ I purchased about a year ago. This Celestron is a Newtonian Reflector. Bringing out the old telescope. Proudly powered by WordPress.
Paul W. Morton – Go faster together
Paul W. Morton. Weak words weak leaders. Persuader for US president 2016. Greece is old – maybe they’re wise too. Haul down the flag. Nudity, poo and our digital lives to come. Weak words weak leaders. The first job of any leader anywhere in any role is to make sure the people around them are safe. Intellectually or physically it is the number one problem. All that our elite, empty, failed politicians are giving us today is empty noise and weak words. They are to a man and a woman failures. Losers. I thi...
