Master Pavellas was my first Kenpo instructor. So I named this blog after him. Monday, November 25, 2013. Why Does Kenpo Not Use Kung Fu Sashes? I was told Kenpo comes from the Chinese martial arts. So I was wondering why they do not use Kung Fu Sashes instead of karate belts? My only observation or answer would be that karate belts are easier to use and buy. Especially back in the early days of the martial arts in the USA. Where would they go to get a genuine sash. Tuesday, November 19, 2013.

A nice video where Chuck Norris explains how well he would have done in MMA competition if it were around back in his day. the 70's. In fact I believe him when he says he would have done well. Gracie BJJ and Chuck Norris. I enjoyed this video about the Gracies. Here is Chuck Norris discussing his first meeting with them. Kind of an eye opener!

Okay this may not seem like something t post on my blog but, who cares. It is my blog. I am considering wearing pajamas to bed and thought it would be a cool idea to wear some ninja clothes since it would be night time when I wear them LOL! They are not really expensive and if they didn't work out I will not have wasted much money as they only cost about $30.

I wouldn't go as far as saying the weather is frightful- it's a little below 0C and there's a layer of snow on the ground- and I don't have a fire that I could say was delightful, but it's definitely beginning to feel a lot like Christmas here in Stockholm.
