Lately the blog has been all about me, me, me (as it should be) and I think my family is probably jonesin’ for some kid updates. This summer has been brutal, the heat pretty much ruined my fun summer plans……….oh who am I kidding, I didn’t have any fun summer plans planned, I was totally going to wing it, what do I look like? I would have killed to have something like that back in my day...

Saturday, September 22, 2012. Sometimes, in the midst of this crazy thing called life, we get a moment that puts everything into perspective for us. We step back and think “Aha! Actually be doing an ok job at this parenting business.”. Yesterday began in a real crappy way, at 2 am with Miss Harper wide awake….until 6 am! I ended up calling in to work, I knew there was no way she was going to be up and ready to go by 9 am and if she was then she was going to be a beast in Kid Zone. Toy and fighting over.

Monday, August 27, 2012. Move it Monday….and some other stuff……. I am writing this during naptime except…………….there is no naptime. That’s right my friends, I am. Sacrificing Harper’s nap in hopes that she will start sleeping again at night. For the past month, girlfriend will wake up for 2 hours straight in the middle of the night and be. 8220;Hey you want to act like you are Whitney freakin’ Houston in the middle of the night, go right ahead, Mama is gonna sleep.”. Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Femoral torsion.how do you even say that? Today we took Pax to an Orthopedic specialist. Since he was a baby we knew he was going to be pigeon toed but the pediatrician reassured us it was normal and he would outgrow by the time he was walking well.well not so much! His is the internal femoral torsion. Oh yeah and Harper is doing GREAT! Morning of the day you were born! 39 weeks and HUGE! We are so anxious to meet our bundle of joy! Tuesday, December 29, 2009. 7am Wednesday, December 30th! Sunday, May 30, 2010. At 5 months old Charlie is. Eating baby food.started with veggies! He is not a fan of peas (just like his parents). He loves Sweet Potatoes and Carrots. Green Beans are also another favorite. Charlie grabs at everything. He is able to sit up but still falls from side to side. Can roll over from back to front. Prefers to roll to his left. Can push himself up on all 4's - the boy is strong! Talks gibberish out loud. Has the cutest laugh. Loves it when daddy tickles him.

Friday, April 30, 2010. 4 months old April 30, 2010. In April Charlie attended his first KSU Football game with Daddy. The 2010 Spring Game! Charlie 4 months old. We got our shades on! Charlie's smile just melts our hearts. He is so full of laughter and cheer everyday! At 4 months of age Charlie is. 16 pounds 15 3/4 oz. Trying to roll over. Smiling all the time. Laughing when we tickel him behind his thighs. Loves it when we blow on his belly. Eating 6-7 ounces at each feeding. Is the best snuggler!

As a player myself, I began guitar building for the need of a better guitar. Working as a wooden boat-builder in England I had the basic skills and old school training needed to produce my first guitar back in 1999. Just as in boatbuilding, in guitar building you use your eye to create the shapes you need. So one lends itself to the other nicely.
