Thursday, October 29, 2009. No Turning Back Now! I finally did it. I officially registered, and paid for, my first ever half marathon. I've always wanted to run a half, and eventually, a full but something has always come up or I find a good excuse not to. My race is the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach, CA on Sunday, February 7. It looks like a fairly flat, pretty course so I'm really excited. Who wouldn't be excited to run along the beach? Wednesday, March 5, 2014. First Day of School. My cuties and some of their buddies. Pretty much every sunny weekend day is spent on the lake during the summer. This summer the boys both fell in love with tubing. I can't tell you how many hours (or gallons of gas) were spent pulling the tube. Mommy had to fight them for her wakeboarding time! We love, love, love or family and friend time on the lake. Lawson with his girl Parrish on the 4th of July. His teacher, Mrs. Leggett and class. Some of his buddies.
