Hirsche Family: August 2013
http://shirschefamily.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Thursday, August 22, 2013. Second Grade is So Grown-Up! Wow, I have a second-grader! Notice the wound on his chin? Yesterday he was playing with a PVC pipe rocket launcher thing, using it as a microphone and dancing. Apparently he was bouncing a little to vigorously and gouged his chin on the outside from the pipe and messed up the inside of his lip with his tooth. At least mouths heal fairly quickly. Sunday, August 18, 2013. And the zoo again in May with Grandma and Grandpa.

Hirsche Family: October 2013
http://shirschefamily.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 4, 2013. Most of his team. I think there were two missing. He was excited to be able to hold his very own ball in the pictures this year. He loves that ball that Uncle Ken and Aunt Liliana gave him for Christmas last year! It has been well used this past year. So proud of him this year for getting more in the thick of things. Many games were under rainy skies and passing thunder storms. He thought it was cool this night to play under a rainbow. This was right after scoring a goal. I t...

Hirsche Family: May 2013
http://shirschefamily.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 19, 2013. Die with Your Boots On. The best part of the whole exhibit was towards the end. There were some more modern mummies and one was wearing his boots. Geddy immediately says, "Hey, it's like that Iron Maiden song. Die With Your Boots On". That kid just doesn't forget anything! Die With Your Boots On! We were having a crazy thunder/rain storm on Saturday. I dashed out to check on my container plants. I glanced down the backyard and this is what I saw. See, it looked so close. So You Thin...

Hirsche Family: May 2014
http://shirschefamily.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 9, 2014. I honestly don't know why it has been so long since I have blogged. We have done things that are "blog-worthy". Plus I haven't even blogged about last summer's vacation yet and here it is almost a new summer. Hopefully I can make up for it in the next little while. Here are pictures. Many have been posted on facebook already. But they are adorable so enjoy them again. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Provo City Library Childrens Book Review. Provo City Library Staff Reviews.

Hirsche Family: August 2014
http://shirschefamily.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 7, 2014. It's Great to be Eight, part three! His favorite activity by far of the day - BB guns. I am not an expert by any means, but I think he looks in good shooting form in this picture. Blowing his boat to victory. He had been really looking forward to archery. But he ended up not liking it. My theory is because he is left-handed and they were probably showing him as a right-handed which would have confused him. All the boys from his den. Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Geddy and Aunt Shauna.

Hirsche Family: November 2014

Wednesday, November 12, 2014. The Aquarium - August 2014 - Blast-o-Photos. Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Rocky loves bags of any kind. Paper bags are fun because of the crinkly noise. And he likes to chew on them. But they aren't as comfy as those recyclable cloth bags. He isn't the cuddliest of cats, but sometimes he likes to join in for Sunday afternoon naps. Rocky likes to explore the rafters in the basement. Rocky loves drinking straight from the tap. The drain is such a mystery to him. Not sure if he ...

Hirsche Family: September 2013
http://shirschefamily.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 15, 2013. Salt Lake Comic Con Insanity. Riding the Frontrunner train from Provo to Salt Lake City. Geddy didn't know about this part of the trip until we got to the station. He loved it! There wasn't much room to move around. This apparently was the biggest convention in Utah history. I guess it was also the largest inaugural comic con in the US according to this article in the Deseret News. There was a very cool Lord of the Rings display. Saturday, September 14, 2013. The onion toss...

Hirsche Family: July 2014
http://shirschefamily.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 28, 2014. It's Great to be Eight, part one! First, I made each person a "cat toy" out of felt. They didn't take too long to make and were a lot of fun. I made a total of 13. One girl ended up not coming so Rocky got her mouse and loves it. Now on to the actual party. We invited 11 plus Geddy for an even dozen. One little brother wanted to come so we said yes because I was pretty sure one of the little girls we invited wouldn't come. I was right, and things worked out splendidly. The next gam...

Monday, June 29, 2015. Utah Lake Festival - June 6, 2015. Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Payson Temple Open House. Saturday May 16, 2015 9:30am. We went to the Payson Temple Open House. Such a beautiful place, words can't even describe. We were able to take just a couple of pictures. I had to get to work, and the weather wasn't the most cooperative. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
