Peterson's Periodical Postings: February 2013

Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Another basketball season is coming to an end. It has been a successful year and fun to watch Keion mature in his basketball skills. His team still has one final game tomorrow but I am confident that they will win! They have only lost one game this season and it was a very close game. Keion was also team captain again this year and is definitely a leader on the court. And here is Keion's BIGGEST fan! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Owen, Avery, and Payton's Place. How to be a Do...

Peterson's Periodical Postings: August 2012

Friday, August 10, 2012. We decided we better find out what was "up north" before we left Michigan. When we first moved here everyone would talk about going "up north" and I just couldn't figure out what that was all about and what was so special up there. Well, we have come to find out just what that means and the reason everyone goes there. It is a whole different world "up north" compared to where we live. Not that our area is bad by any means but Northern Michigan is beautiful. Saulte Ste. Marie.

Peterson's Periodical Postings: January 2014

Thursday, January 23, 2014. Atlantis, Bahama Style. Knowing that Kylan was going to be starting his first year of practice we took the summer to celebrate and vacation as much as we could. It was a smart move. He has been busy non-stop since starting back to work and has taken no time off. Just a few highlights: swimming with the dolphins, snorkling, Tim Allen show and endless trips around the "lazy" river. They call it a lazy river but it was anything but that. I spent hours floating around that...We to...

Saturday, January 19, 2013. We had a wonderful Christmas. The kids had a blast and Emory got her first Christmas under her belt. We stayed in town and celebrate on our own. Since it is our last year of everything here in Michigan we stay home and around as much as possible. We want to soak up every last minute we have here. It won't be long and we will be on our way west. Here are a few pictures highlighting the big event. Another successful Christmas accomplished! Tuesday, January 15, 2013.

Peterson's Periodical Postings: June 2013

Sunday, June 2, 2013. I must admit that Easter was sub par this year. We actually didn't get to celebrate until the week after because we were in Florida during Easter. There was no way we were going to pack all the Easter stuff with us so we just celebrated the weekend after we got back. No egg hunt. It's a shame. I guess we will have to destroy everyone next year at the big family egg hunt! While we usually do well at celebrating the holidays, this was a bust. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Peterson's Periodical Postings: May 2013

Saturday, May 18, 2013. Spring break was a blast! We wanted to end our time here in Michigan like true Michiganders. With that said, we couldn't leave without making a trip to Florida. Everyone in Michigan goes to Florida for spring break and "up north" in the summer. Now we have accomplished both! We rented out a house that had its own pool and it was perfect. We would come home every day and go swim. It was nice to have our own place and not be in a pool with everyone else and all of their pee! We adul...

Peterson's Periodical Postings: April 2013

Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Emory had a fun 1st birthday. We had a couple friends over for dinner and then a little party after. She didn't dig into the cake like we hoped but almost threw it all to the ground. Emory is just like Keion in the way she hates to have her hands dirty. She loved all her gifts and had a blast on her pony! Emory is still only crawling. She refuses to walk and doesn't hardly get a chance with everyone toting her around all the time! Peterson's Periodical Postings: September 2012

Sunday, September 16, 2012. Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes. Our last adventure of the summer. Supposedly Sleeping Bear Dunes. Is ranked one of the most beautiful places to visit in the U.S.A. Keion had a soccer game in Traverse City. That is just 30 minutes from the sand dunes so we decided to make a weekend out of it. Fortunately a couple other families had the same idea so Keion had some buddies to hang out with. He needed them most when we decided to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge. Mom, Dad, and Me.

Peterson's Periodical Postings: Christmas 2014
http://kylandanettekeion.blogspot.com/2014/03/christmas-2014.html
Thursday, March 20, 2014. I didn't realize I also missed out on the joy of watching Keion not only open his Christmas pj's but attempt some stunts in them as well! Who knew these would have been such a hit. He saved the day. One more year with Keion being at home for Christmas and then he could be off on a mission. I hate to think how quickly time is moving. I guess it's a good thing we have Emory around to make us think we are still young because the truth is.we are getting OLD! Mom, Dad, and Me.
