Payton's Brain Operation: August 2007

http://www.paytons-page.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html

Friday, August 31, 2007. August 31 - 3 PM. The surgeon told us to just take him into a local doctor in a week or so to get the staples out. I can't wait to see the look on Dr. Sharps face when we he comes into the patient room and we ask him to take all of those staples out, it may take while. After the surgery we have been moved to the Neuro. The other good news we received today is that Payton might get to go home and continue his recovery as early as Monday. That would be FANTASTIC and so much bet...

Mike, Amber and kids: August 2007

http://mikeandamberrosvall.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html

Mike, Amber and kids. Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Our family trip to the San Juan Islands in Washington. Here we are riding to ferry to Lopez Island where we stayed for 5 days. We did everything including fishing for sharks, crabbing, shrimping, biking, tide pool hopping, hiking and especially laughing! It was such a great trip where everyone was together in pretty tight quarters and yet I didn't here one instance of fighting- except for Dylan and Bodie who have a love- hate relationship! We also fished fo...

Jason worked so hard to make all of his eggs perfect. The kids all got new Easter clothes for church,. Here they are - clean for at least a few minutes! Aubrey shows off the final masterpieces. This bunny cake was so fun to decorate. I even had Mike want to take a turn! In the middle of it all!

http://mikeandamberrosvall.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html

Mike, Amber and kids. Wednesday, October 25, 2006. Learning to crawl is not always easy. Luke loves to crawl backward. He gets so frustrated that he can't get where he wants to go. I have found him under end tables because he scooted back there. He is very good at getting from a lying on his back position to a sitting position. Sometimes these skills just take time. Now if there were something we could do about all of that drool! Posted by Mike and Amber Family at 7:20 PM. Wednesday, October 18, 2006.

Mike, Amber and kids. Thursday, November 02, 2006. This year for Halloween we let the kids actually carve their pumpkins rather than draw on them. Dylan took one hand full of pumpkin guts and replied "This is so gross Mom! As if it was my fault). He never did touch it again. Aubrey and Jason loved it though. They designed their own faces and decorated the outsides. Our little trick or treaters. Luke as a purple dragon. Dylan as a roman soldier flexing his muscles. Aubrey as our beautiful princess. Mike, Amber and kids. Saturday, September 30, 2006. Aubrey is a fish on this trip. Today, she perfected the double back-flip in the pool! Jason is also swimming great, and is able to do a front-flip in the water now. Most of all, it has been great to spend time as a family and with Grandpa. Mike, Amber and kids. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. We love the Columbus zoo. Recently they added two new tigers and a whole new section for Asia. These tigers were swimming in their pool. We were so close. Dylan and Aubrey looked them right in the eye. It was really cool. Among swimming, yard work, hiking and hanging out, Mike still found time to "bond" with his boys by playing his Play Station 3. They love racing cars, motorcycles, etc. Dylan says "this is really like Nascar Dad! Swinging from the vines.
