Holiday Giving | The PB &J Fund

For kids relying on the Free and Reduced Lunch program through the city schools, holiday breaks can often be a time without consistent meals. Each year during the winter holiday, the Holiday Giving program works with Charlottesville City Schools to send bags of shelf stable and nutritious food home with the students participating in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program on the Toy Lift in the lower elementary schools. After being back in the office officially for just a little over a week after having my second daughter it’s certain to say I don’t necessarily have the time to write on our blog today. But sometimes, you have to stop and reflect and document a day. Because it was that good. Yesterday was the best day of our KSA (Kids Supporting Agriculture) program.
