http://northernshade.ca/plant-list

This is a medium sized astilbe with a terrific soft pink flower. The flower colour is my favourite of all astilbes. When the flower fades to brown, I leave them on the plant for winter interest. Saturday, July 4, 2009. PREENING OF A HUMMINGBIRD. My hummingbird displays his grooming techniques. When a bird preens, it is a process in which they groom and care for their feathers. They use their beak to pick through their feathers. And arrange feathers that are out of place. The bird will distribute. That is secreted from a gland. At the base of its' tail. This oil helps to keep the birds' feathers healthy and shiny. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). In the mood for a melody? View my complete profile.

Sunday, February 22, 2009. One night.without regard to where I wandered. the darkness, the moon glow and the woods as one surrounded me. I felt as if I was being drawn in. To where? I wondered. What a wonderous feeling. one with nature. Thursday, February 19, 2009. Monday, February 16, 2009. LOOKING BACK ON JANUARY.6. Just s...
