Waking up in a bed and NOT finding dead bug parts stuck to your arms, spending an entire day outside and not having your snot run black, not being covered in perpetual dark grime, eating food without hitting the pockets of dirt, washing my face in the morning and feeling as though it’s still clean a full hour later…these are experiences you just don’t get living here in the village.
