Rarely, very rarely, I have what I call a written dream where I am both reading the dream and having it at the same time – it is a fairly surreal experience. What sparked this one – Constance. By Maggie O’Farrell and the latest in a new mystery series for me – Death of a Dean. Here is what caught my interest this week:. 8211; wish I could visit e...

I should remember that the week I am back from my mom’s is almost always a non-reading week. It seems like everyone/thing (including the house and especially the cat) needs to reclaim some equilibrium. I did listen to the end of Where’d You Go Bernadette. Here is what caught my interest this week:. Last spring, a friend&...

And though the calendar appeared to be continuing its slow plod whenever she checked it, Margaret was dogged by a particular sensation. She felt that somehow, somewhere along the way when she had not been paying careful attention (and how could she have been so heedless? This is a book about searching searching history, searching for reasons, for meaning...

Reflections from the Hinterland. Reading, Writing, and life in general. Sunday Caught My Interest. Sunday Caught My Interest. October 27, 2013 by pburt. And Heading Out to Wonderful. I restarted Behind the Beautiful Forevers. But have struggled to get into the story – not because of the writing but of the subject. I think I need something a little more upbeat right now. So I have put it down about a quarter of the way done and will try to finish it some other time. I really enjoyed reading By a Slow River.

Reflections from the Hinterland | Reading, Writing, and life in general
Reflections from the Hinterland. Reading, Writing, and life in general. December 2, 2013 by pburt. I haven’t read anything of substance for two weeks (Food magazines and newspapers only). That included all my book blogs so I had over 300 posts to go through yesterday. The prior Sunday I was finishing up my family’s Christmas and packing for my mom’s. This week was all about Thanksgiving and having ten people in the house for several days. Sunday Caught My Interest. November 17, 2013 by pburt. By Lisa O&#...

See, that’s what the app is perfect for. Wahhhh, I don’t wanna. Love my little blog. An Interview With the Baja Hoodie Part I. The baja poncho was termed as a drug rug hoodie for a long period because most people who wore them tended to use drugs. But now they are typically seen on university students and high school kids. If you are looking for a gift for any person in your family, you just simply can’t go wrong with buying them an authentic Mexican sweater poncho. Apr 11th, 2018. The red tea detox.

I’ll have plenty to to bore you with once I write a story that I think you might want to read. So, I went looking for other ways to use my blog. (Before you all think I died and forgot to tell you.). I am not criticizing those who do, it's just not my style. My Artwork can be viewed in the Gallery.
