Shinobi: The Mathematical Ninja: Introduction
http://ninja-adventures07.blogspot.com/2008/01/introduction_09.html
Hello and welcome to our Developing Expert Voices blog site guarded by our mathematical ninja, Shinobi otherwise known as Kenzi Decimaru (that's decimal with a Japanese accent). The Developing Expert Voices project was an assignment given to us by our Pre-calculus 40S teacher. To review the assessment rubric on the main Developing Expert Voices website click. This project not only gives you a window to look through the walls of our classroom, but also through the minds of us students individually.

In the month of September, Shinobi is sent on an independent mission to recover lost treasure in a cavern embedded in a cliff. The cavern itself overlooks a vast ocean and the cliff is inaccessible due to its height of 53 feet. 1 Why did you choose the concepts you did to create your problem set? 2 How do these problems provide an overview of your best mathematical understanding of what you have learned so far? I think that having to be able to explain how to fully do a question reflects our mathematical understanding of what we've learned so far. I am horrible at explaining things especially mathematical concepts. Let me tell you that math is definitely not my favourite subject. 3 Did you learn anything from this assignment?
