Each PCGH resident has his or her own special needs, skills and interests, which are assessed upon arrival. With a focus on quality care, we teach and help our residents as they engage in the activities of daily living like household chores, laundry and cooking. Our residential programs provide individualized care to ensure that each person receives the appropriate level of assistance. PCGH promotes active involvement in the world of work. We provide in-house vocational training designed to increase a resident's ability to function successfully in the community and prepare them for employment at area businesses. Steady employment provides residents with a sense of independence and self-worth while creating a learning environment outside the group home. Residents are able to become taxpaying citizens who contribute to the community.
