StationR in BLOGLAND: May 2010
http://stationr.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 17, 2010. What, I'm still here? Today while waiting for the legendary Michael Torres to come train with me, I ran a mile in under eight minutes without trying very hard. For an old timer like me, I hope that's not bad. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Chattanooga, TN, United States. Although I have had a personal website for over a decade now (see www.stationr.org. Monday, February 27, 2012. Playing with Google Maps. Link to the spot where I lost my jeep for about four days in 1979:. For lack of a $20 comealong, I almost lost the jeep for good. We got it out a day or two before the creek rose ten feet. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Chattanooga, TN, United States. StationR in BLOGLAND: What, I'm still here?

Monday, May 17, 2010. What, I'm still here? Today while waiting for the legendary Michael Torres to come train with me, I ran a mile in under eight minutes without trying very hard. For an old timer like me, I hope that's not bad. Unfortunately, it turned out that I only ran 8/9ths of a mile in eight minutes. The indoor track at the ARC is actually 9 laps to a mile, not the 8 to a mile that we thought. April 13, 2012 at 6:51 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Chattanooga, TN, United States. StationR in BLOGLAND: June 2009
http://stationr.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 18, 2009. Surrounded by Rhus Radicans! I imagined I could feel the deadly urushiol oil in the air.did I dare even to breathe? I have a theory that rubbing alcohol will keep the urushiol from binding with the skin. Once it binds, my body's t-cells will mistake it for a toxic invader, and the allergic reaction will run wild. Did my skin touch the ivy? Will the drinking water I poured over my legs wash away the oil? Will the rubbing alcohol used at the truck prevent binding? We Are Free - Ano...

Seaworthy Computer Support: Beware the Craiglist Computer Repair!
http://pcliferaft.blogspot.com/2013/03/beware-craiglist-computer-repair.html
Sunday, March 24, 2013. Beware the Craiglist Computer Repair! I came across another astoundingly bad example of why it's important to use a reputable person to repair your computer. A friend of mine managed to get her laptop badly infected with malware, no doubt because she deliberately neglected to update Windows and Java. She'll know better next time, I hope. Then I did all the updates- including uninstalling Java altogether- and she was back where she needed to be. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
