August 2, 2015. Can no longer recommend. It is now 12 years since I joined my first clinical trial as a de novo patient for a new treatment (CEP-1347). And now I am participant #3 in the NIH GDNF Gene Therapy clinical trial. (I am getting ready for my 18 month appointment.). Recently a candidate for my GDNF gene therapy trial phoned me to ask questions. He asked many things, including would I do it all over again? July 20, 2015.
