Sunday, December 6, 2009. Scott, Jenny and Mia's Thanksgiving Visit. Uncle Scott, Aunt Jenny and Cousin Mia made a 13 hour trek from Pacifica to Boise to spend Thanksgiving week with us. It was so nice to be together. Having them here really made me long for family. The kids also loved being together. They played non-stop and Emerson has been talking about it since they left. Monday, November 2, 2009. I don't know how I captured this one. Usually Em sees the camera pointed his way and he runs. Katie, Josh and Sheila's oldest daughter, is pretty sweet with Emerson. They bonded a couple of weeks back when Katie and Hanna babysat. Emerson decided to stay up with them until 11ish. The kids loving up their daddy after work. Monday, November 16, 2009. Here Quinn is being pulled by Emerson on her new train. She seems a little apprehensive about the driver's skills. When Quinn laid eyes on her baby for the first time, she held her up and said, "Bay! She held her baby and hugged her. Now we ask if she's going to give baby a kiss and she opens her mouth and lays one on baby. I had no idea she'd love a baby so much. Saturday, January 16, 2010. 14 mo old Quinn. Quinn is now 14 months old. She's trying to talk and still signing quite a bit. Today she said, "Baa" while she tried to take Emerson's basketball. Daddy is still, "Ma," and always said with excitement. She also said, "Up" clearly today. Sunday, May 24, 2009. GG and Grandpa Max arrived with bags of Gymboree clothes. Emerson was unexpectedly ecstatic about both he and Quinn's new outfits. He tried on everything saying, "Doesn't this fit perfectly? After each new outfit was on. Here's one of Quinn's cute new summer outfits. I think they'll be great for a Connecticut summer.
